Your Pets In Heaven-Kat Kerr

Your Pets In Heaven

I don’t quite know what to think about this lady. She says that she has been taken on thousands of “tours” of Heaven. Jesus just showed up one day and told her that he wanted to educate her so she could be his spokesperson on earth for him about the coming “Heavenly invasion” of this world. If you listen to her you will be amazed that even though her stories, at first, sound like something a crazy person would be saying… she doesn’t really seem like a crazy person. I want to believe that she is telling the truth. And of course, I love what she has to say about your pets in Heaven.
Actually, we agree on the idea of your pets in Heaven and she says pretty much the same thing that I have been saying. People probably think I’m crazy too. Maybe we are both crazy.

I will say that I enjoy listening to Kat Kerr. She makes the idea of Heaven more real to me and she is fun to listen to. I wish she hadn’t brought politics into the picture however. But then again, I hope she is right about Trump too. She believe that Trump was chosen by God for this special time when she says that God is moving a lot of spiritual beings to the earth to start a Revelation… not a revival.

Time will tell

Anyway, I guess time will tell if Kat Kerr is for real or not. She has already made a few prophecies. She stated before the presidential election that Trump would be elected. As I stated previously, Trump was “chosen by God” according to Kerr. I don’t take that too seriously as a prophecy however as she had a 50/50 chance of getting that right.
I’m waiting to see God move in a big way here in the next few months. Kat says that we will see some amazing things here in the near future. I really hope that she is for real.

Do Dogs Go To Heaven?… Of Course!… But Not Just Dogs…

DO DOGS GO TO HEAVEN?

do dogs go to heaven?

When asked, “Do dogs go to Heaven?”, Evangelist Billy Graham quipped back very assuredly, “God will prepare everything for our perfect happiness in Heaven, and if it takes my dog being there, I believe he’ll be there.”
That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”

I feel very confident that all our animals will be restored when Jesus brings down the new Heaven and the new Earth. They are God’s pets too. He created all the animals and said, “It is good.”
You are very correct in stating that it is most important to make sure that we are there also to see them. The animal will be restored without having to believe or repent. But for us, it is important to be rightly related to God which is very simple… we just need to trust that Jesus came to fulfill the law that we are not capable of obeying completely and we will be accounted as righteous in God’s eyes just as it was for Abraham.

Some have tried to say that dogs and other animals will not be in Heaven because that lack a “soul”. I don’t believe that to be true but it is a mute point in any case. Eventually God will redeem all of His creation. Everything in this world is presently corrupted and in a continuous state of decay. Nothing is as God intended in the beginning.  But someday God will restore all of creation back to it’s original glory. Heaven will be right here on earth. I don’t really believe in a “Pet Heaven” but I believe in Heaven with pets.

Revelation 21:1

A New Heaven and a New Earth
1Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea (sea, in this context is anther word for chaos). 2And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. 3And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them,…

God doesn’t give up on His real estate… or his pets either. All of the animals will be here when the earth is restored to it’s former grandeur.  Of course, we too will be restored in our new bodies.

Romans 8

20 Against its will, all creation was subjected to God’s curse. But with eager hope, 21 the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and decay. 22 For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23 And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children,[j] including the new bodies he has promised us.

To sum this up, if Jesus really conquered death and came back to life after being killed (which is very well documented), shouldn’t we be listening to what he said and believing what he believed?

Well if you believe the Bible, God promises to care for all the animals forever. What’s interesting about this is that they will be saved and raised to Heaven without having to be cleansed of sin because they are not actually capable of sinning. The animals never rebelled against God because they wanted to “be equal to God, knowing good and evil.” In Genesis, it states that God created the all the animals and “It was good”. Whether you believe that the creation story is to be taken literally or that it is a simple analogy of how and why God brought the world into being; the Bible is the inspired word of God. I have to admit that some of it is hardly inspiring to me (especially in the Old Testament) but if Jesus says it was inspired, who am I to argue.

We, on the other hand must be redeemed and made clean from sin before we can be in God’s presence.

Pets in Heaven? Yes, Your Pet will be waiting for you in Heaven when you get there… if you get there that is.

But it’s really not that hard to make sure that you will be there.
All you have to do is believe that God came to earth as Jesus, and died for our sins so that ” whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Will I See My Pet In Heaven?

Rainbow Bridge Memorial Picture
“You are here too but you just don’t know it yet”

Is My Pet In Heaven?

The short answer is yes.
All animals go to Heaven.
I’m not talking about Pet Heaven or Rainbow Bridge.
Those are nice concepts but I believe that there is only one Heaven for people and animals alike and we will all be there together again someday.

Heaven is a wonderful place. So wonderful that we can’t even imagine how wonderful it is. Just imagine for a minute, the most awesome place you’ve ever been or seen pictures of… or even heard about. Forget about the old stereotype of angels sitting on a cloud and playing their harps all day. Heaven is a busy place with lots of fun things to do. And the fun never ends because there are no clocks in Heaven. Time doesn’t exist in Heaven. You won’t have to be in a hurry because you will have all eternity to do whatever you want to do. You can take your time and reminisce to your heart’s content. Won’t it be great to talk to grandpa again and even meet your great grandparents that you never knew here in this world. And won’t it be great to talk to the animals too. That’s right.. you can ask Duke just what he was thinking that time he chewed up your favorite slippers. And he will be able to answer you back, “Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time.”

God’s original plan was that man and animals would live together peacefully forever. Read these passages from Genesis:

20 Then God said, “Let the waters swarm with fish and other life. Let the skies be filled with birds of every kind.” 21 So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that scurries and swarms in the water, and every sort of bird—each producing offspring of the same kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 Then God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply. Let the fish fill the seas, and let the birds multiply on the earth.”

23 And evening passed and morning came, marking the fifth day.

24 Then God said, “Let the earth produce every sort of animal, each producing offspring of the same kind—livestock, small animals that scurry along the ground, and wild animals.” And that is what happened. 25 God made all sorts of wild animals, livestock, and small animals, each able to produce offspring of the same kind. And God saw that it was good.

26 Then God said, “Let us make human beings[b] in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”

27 So God created human beings[c] in his own image.
In the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.

28 Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.”

29 Then God said, “Look! I have given you every seed-bearing plant throughout the earth and all the fruit trees for your food. 30 And I have given every green plant as food for all the wild animals, the birds in the sky, and the small animals that scurry along the ground—everything that has life.” And that is what happened.

31 Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good!

Guess what?
God doesn’t change.

He has always cared for the animals He created and He always will.

When God sent the flood, He made sure that the animals were saved too.  And when God made the covenent with Noah after the flood, the animals were included too. Please read these passages, also from Genesis:

8 Then God told Noah and his sons, 9 “I hereby confirm my covenant with you and your descendants, 10 and with all the animals that were on the boat with you—the birds, the livestock, and all the wild animals—every living creature on earth. 11 Yes, I am confirming my covenant with you. Never again will floodwaters kill all living creatures; never again will a flood destroy the earth.”

To us it seems like things are in a terrible mess but God sees from the beginning to the end and everything is just as He originally planned it.
We can’t even imagine how wonderful everything will be once we get free from these fleshly bodies and become part of the spiritual world of Heaven.
I like what Rev Billy Graham said about Heaven. “God will prepare everything for our perfect happiness in Heaven, and if it takes my dog being there, I believe he’ll be there.”
I used to worry about what happens when we die but now I have such a peace about it.
I actually believe that one day we will find out that all those who died before us were the lucky ones.

Pet Heaven… is it for real?

Pet Heaven… is it for real?
If you are grieving the loss of one of your best friends, I am very sorry.
I wish I could say something to take away the pain… but I can’t.
I just recently lost one of my best friends too.
Such a tragedy.
It’s been weeks now but I still can’t believe he is gone.
He was so full of life.
Koda was a beautiful Siberian Husky.
He would always greet me with an energetic “high-ten”, a bad habit of which I should have broke him but never really tried because I enjoyed it so. We loved to wrestle with one another. But he was always careful and gentle with the kids.
He loved to fetch and catch and never tired of playing games with me.
His favorite thing was to run… man could he run… and it was a beautiful sight to behold and even though we have a very large yard, he could traverse from one end to the other in what seems like seconds.
The worst habit he had was trying to escape the yard and run free through the neighborhood every chance he got. He didn’t like to be left alone and more than once, I came home from work to find he had discovered a loophole in my security system.
But after calling a few friends I could always locate him safe and sound. Eventually we got all the bugs out of the security system and Koda had finally resolved himself to occupying his spare time by digging up the yard and finding various things to chew up around the house. All was well… until our 2 year old figured out how to open doors.
Koda hadn’t had a chance to run free for a long time and he took full advantage of it. This time no one called to say “Your dog is in our front yard”. This time a cop drove up the driveway and solemnly told me that our Koda was lying on the road about a half a mile away. He had found his way to the busy highway.
It was the hardest thing I ever had to do. To see him like that. I had to take him to be cremated. I just couldn’t accept it at first. He was just so full of life. I couldn’t accept the fact that I was never going to play with him again. It still just doesn’t seem real. It just can’t be. Of course I blamed myself. I should have taught him the dangers of the big highway. I should have had child proof door handles.
It didn’t matter now… Koda is gone forever.
But not so… I will see him again.
I believe in Heaven.
Not “Pet” Heaven, but Heaven.
God’s plan is and always has been that man would live in harmony with all the animals that He created. God is immutable which means simply “never changing”.
God never changes and eventually it will come to pass that I will see Koda again in Heaven.

I wrote a poem for Koda for his memorial.

I see you running free now
Through woods and fields Valleys and hills
Everything you always longed for No tethers to hold you back
And I will see you again
In the blink of an eye … for you
But for me… It will be a bit longer
Till then… I will miss you Koda.

To answer this question in one word or less… yes!

To quote Rev Billy Graham, “God will prepare everything for our perfect happiness in Heaven, and if it takes my dog being there, I believe he’ll be there.”

In other words, if that is what your idea of happiness is, then you will be reunited with your beloved pets in Heaven.
It only makes sense.
If Heaven is everything wonderful that we could possibly imagine (and it will be), then my pets will be there.
It just couldn’t be Heaven without them.
As Paul said in 2 Corinthians, “This boasting will do no good, but I must go on. I will reluctantly tell about visions and revelations from the Lord. I was caught up to the third heaven fourteen years ago. Whether I was in my body or out of my body, I don’t know—only God knows. Yes, only God knows whether I was in my body or outside my body. But I do know that I was caught up to paradise and heard things so astounding that they cannot be expressed in words, things no human is allowed to tell.”
We can’t imagine how wonderful it will be in Heaven.
So, of course, anything we really care about will be there.

Is There Really a Pet Heaven?

Is there really a Pet Heaven?
I hear that question more and more these days.
And my answer is always… I don’t know.
What I do know is that there is a Heaven.
Isn’t that good enough?
I have proof that there is a Heaven and that we will see our pet’s again when we get there. (more on this in a later post)
Now maybe our pet’s spend some time in another place like Rainbow Bridge for a while until we are ready to join them.
That could be “Pet Heaven” but I just don’t know about that for sure.
Actually, I’d rather think that they just go to the same Heaven that we go to where everything is so wonderful that we cannot even imagine how awesome it will be. It’s far beyond our realm of brain capacity. If we only knew what it is like in Heaven, we would all be trying to get there faster instead of trying to find the “Fountain of Youth”. We will find out someday that all those friends and family that have gone before us are really the lucky ones. They get to enjoy Heaven while we have to stay here and miss them.
But I guess it gives me some comfort to think that there is a “Pet Heaven” too where all the animals play together and just have lots of fun when they leave here. Just as long as I know that I can stop by this Pet Heaven and pick up my precious friends and take them with me when it’s my time to go.
I do know that one way or another my animal friends will all be with me when I go to Heaven. It will be better than it ever was on the best day on this earth. It will be like the Garden of Eden. We will be able to talk to the animals and they will talk to us. (more about this in another post too). Won’t it be great to finally know what Princess was trying to tell you all these years?
